BIO
Jenny Baker is an artist and songwriter using her eclectic pop sound to empower her listeners through the honesty and transparency of her lyrics. Her pop fusion draws inspiration from artists such as Julia Michaels and Taylor Swift, and she aims to capture universal emotions through a unique lyrical perspective.
As a graduate of Harvard University and member of the Berklee College of Music Dual Degree Program, Jenny is both an artist and an activist. At Harvard she studied sociology, with focuses in feminism and human rights, and at Berklee she studied songwriting, performance, and music business. These are not mutually exclusive to her, she aims to use her platform to educate her audience on the issues she is passionate about. A portion of all royalties from each of her projects are donated to various nonprofit organizations (Education Through Music LA, International OCD Foundation).
Last year, Jenny released her debut EP, The Day You're Gone, which has amassed over 2 million streams worldwide. Since then she has released her viral hit, HATE IT IN HERE, and most recently put out her second EP, Person That You Need, which centers around an evolution of self worth. Her upcoming single, When You Don't, is out everywhere on August 23rd.
